Dr. Jacobs is a coach and trainer who assists professionals, business people and their organizations to clarify their vision, develop their strengths, and create thriving work environments – workplaces that attract and retain outstanding talent, that stimulate creativity, and that increase the effectiveness and productivity of their teams and employees. Her trainings focus on the assessment and development of various aspects of emotional intelligence, and incorporate a solid behavior change component. Dr Jacobs believes the most powerful coaching she can provide expands her clients’ interpersonal awareness and their ability to respond and communicate effectively in all business and professional contexts. Dr. Jacobs’ approach is characterized by her ability to adapt to the unique qualities and circumstances of each client and organization, to deliver coaching that has the greatest impact and value for her clients.

Dr. Jacobs attended Brandeis University and the Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology where she received her doctorate in clinical psychology. She served for eight years on the adjunct faculty of the University of Massachusetts in Boston, where she provided instruction and clinical supervision in their Masters program in counselor training. She enjoys travel, theatre, choral music, and a variety of outdoor activities. She lives in Ashland, Oregon.
